"Both men and women everywhere were instantly talking about Pippa, so naturally brides-to-be will want to emulate her classic look -- both for themselves or their bridesmaids," said Alain Mehada, chief personal shopper at Debenhams branch on London's Oxford Street.

Debenhams also plans to sell a replica of the emerald green evening gown worn by Pippa Middleton at the evening party for £99, and a flower girl dress which will retail at between £48 and £52. Both will go on sale later this year.

LOS ANGELES - Kim Kardashian wants Old Navy to stop using a lookalike to advertise its clothing.

The reality show starlet and model on Wednesday sued the clothing store and its parent company, The Gap Inc., in a Los Angeles federal court alleging their ads violated her publicity rights with ads that feature a woman who looks like her.

A video of a broadcast ad featuring a smiling, dark-haired woman who bears a resemblance to the real Kardashian has been viewed more than two million times on Old Navy's YouTube channel.

Kardashian's lawsuit claims consumers may be confused by the ads and the model's actual endorsements, which include her own clothing store and shoe line. A commercial, titled, "Super C-U-T-E," began airing in February and Old Navy is still using some of the promotions, the lawsuit states.

The case cites all the benchmarks of modern celebrity: her eight million followers on Twitter, more than five million fans on Facebook and ranking as one of the most searched-for celebrities on the Internet.

Kardashian "has invested substantial time, energy, finances and entrepreneurial effort in developing her considerable professional and commercial achievements and success, as well as in developing her popularity, fame, and prominence in the public eye," the lawsuit states.

Louise Callagy, a spokeswoman for San Francisco-based Gap said the company has not yet seen the case and had no comment.

Kardashian, 31, has rocketed to fame in recent years after gaining prominence as a friend of Paris Hilton and for having a sex tape. She appears along with her family on the E! Entertainment Television series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and routinely graces magazine covers.

Her lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages and wants a federal judge to prevent Old Navy from using a Kardashian lookalike model in its ads again.

The model in the ads, Melissa Molinaro, is not named in the lawsuit. She expressed exasperation that the resemblance was being pointed out again. "Were (sic) still talking about this," she posted on Twitter, noting the ad ran five months ago. "Some people have too much time on (their) hands."

But even with the promise of a comfortable stroll, it's still shocking that the less-than-chic footwear have found their way onto the famous feet of cool kids from Maggie Gyllenhaal to M.I.A. - not to mention NYC hipsters, who this summer are snapping them up in droves.

Handcrafted in Germany, the cork-soled slip-ons were designed by a podiatrist and have been manufactured since the 1940s.

Think of them as the Crocs and Birkenstocks of summers past: Their popularity among the twentysomething set can be explained only by the hipsters' sense of irony.

In a 2007 "Today" show segment, podiatrist Suzanne Levine gave the shoes an "A+" for foot care, while a style expert acknowledged they "are made for old grandmas."

In 2010, that's exactly the draw. Though the tragically hip cry comfort as their excuse for sporting the un-sexy shoes, the real allure is the so-uncool-it's-cool cred they offer.

Slate magazine associate editor Jessica Grose wrote a story this month praising her pair (purchased years ago at a Boca Raton, Fla.-based Web site), while lamenting that this summer, others have discovered them, too. (She cites a years-ago appearance in Lucky magazine as the origin of their slow-growing popularity.)

"They're the most comfortable shoes on the planet," says Grose, 28, from Brooklyn. "And because they have a little bit of a heel, you don't feel frumpy in them."

Sellers of the shoes report a tripling of sales since last year.

Julia Merriman Wray, who owns the shopping site shopolivine.com, says she stocked up on the brand last year after trying on her first pair.

"They look like old-lady shoes, but I'm addicted!" she laughs. "When you slip them on, it's like your feet might as well be inside lambskin gloves."

Wray sells Worishofers in green, red, white and black and two styles (slide, $58, and slingback, $68).

"New York is a walking city," she says. "Trekking downtown in uncomfortable shoes isn't always pretty."

Danny Wasserman, who owns Tip Top Shoes on W. 72nd St., has carried Worishofers in his store for the last 20 years.

"All of the sudden, I have to restock every week, sometimes twice a week," he says of the past two summers. "We sell 30 to 34 pairs every six days."

Wasserman says young women who are loving the comfy kicks can thank Worishofer's original champions: the over-50 crowd.

"It used to only be older women who bought them," he says. "But now all the young girls have to have them. They're very trendy."

When Vaneisha Robinson bought a diamond studded pendant in the shape of LeBron James' number 23 jersey at a yard sale four years ago, she thought it was costume jewelry.

"I used to go to high school with it around my neck, not knowing the value of it," Robinson said.

Robinson got curious about the pendant's value a few months ago when she noticed the diamonds were set in the same way real ones are. She took it to a local jewelry store for a once-over.

"They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified," Robinson said.

Robinson, 20, who is an amateur boxer, saved $200 to pay for a certified appraisal by the International Gemological Institute. The pendant she paid $5 for four years ago is worth nearly $10,000. She's put the jewelry up for sale on eBay.

Despite the backlash caused by James' decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and play for the Miami heat, Robinson believes the pendant will sell for top dollar.

"LeBron James brand will never die out," she said.

"If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know."

I usually don’t prefer Pink’s performances. It’s not that I don’t like her; she is just not one of the main artist I look forward to watching during a special event such as the Grammy’s. But between her last MTV Video Music Award performance and tonight’s Grammy’s I think she has changed my mind.

Pink was beautiful and graceful as she sang “Glitter in the Air”. She was wearing a beautiful white robe, which she later removed for a body suit of white ribbon and flesh colored spandex. It really left nothing to the imagination, especially when the water works started! But she looked absolutely stunning. Her voice was amazing, and her performance was complete, once again, with some simple, yet amazing acrobatics in the air. She held on with one leg as water poured over her and she maintained the beautiful tone to her voice, never missing a beat.

Flying high above the stage, Pink and her backup dancers spun in circles and left the audience and viewers stunned. She received a standing ovation, and certainly won my respect.

Pink is up for two Grammys tonight. She lost the first nomination, but we have yet to see if she will win Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. She is up against Beyonce and Katy Perry.

"I wanted something rich and creamy and sexy, but still youthful,"

The final composition includes "crisp top notes, a heart of jasmine, tuberose and gardenia, and a drydown of tonka bean, jacaranda wood and sandalwood. The initial collection comprises four eaux de parfum stockkeeping units: 1 oz. for $32, 1.7 oz. for $45, 3.4 oz. for $65 and a 0.33-oz. rollerball for $16."

The eau de parfum will launch with a 3-month exclusive at Sephora and be more largely distributed for Mother's Day.

Wonder Girls Launch Korean Music Invasion (Video)

The Wonder Girls, a five-member, all-girl band from South Korea, took the hit reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” by storm last night (Dec. 9) and may well launch the Korean invasion of U.S. pop music.

The oldest Yubin , 21, joined band in late-2007. Sunye (Sun) is the leader and Ye-eun (Yenny) is the group’s newest member. Both are 20 years old. At 17, Sunmi (Mimi) and Hyunah are the youngest members.

The band’s performance on last night’s show gave them their first exposure before a major U.S. audience, but they have already caught the attention of the music industry, including Dave Stewart, formerly of The Eurythmics.

Stewart is producing their first album, set for release in February. The group is also planning to launch a headlining U.S. tour in January.

The Wonder Girls became the first Korean singers to ever enter the U.S. singles charts in October, landing at 76 on Top-100 singles charts with virtually no promotion.

They performed the hit “Nobody,” with Kris Allen, the season eight “American Idol’ winner. Allen also performed his newest single “Live Like We’re Dying.”

The girls are already major pop stars on the Korean peninsula and were introduced as a “pop sensation” on the Fox program’s Web site.

“They are the striking chord with a young U.S. audience,” their producer and manager, singer-songwriter Park Jin-Young, said in a release.

The girls also have opened for the Jonas Brothers on the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 and have two No. 1 hits in Korea, “Tell Me” and “So Hot.”

The Wonder Girls appeal to young tween fans because of their cute and easy-to-follow dance moves and lyrics.

In a testament to their potential, the group has signed a management contract with the Jonas Group and Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency (CAA) which will rep them in the United States.

Stewart announced his collaboration with the Wonder Girls on Twitter over the wekened along with a short demo of “Always Without Me,” which will be on the Girls’ new album.

The Eurythmics, which included Stewart and Annie Lennox, had a string of hits in the 1980s including “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and “Here Comes the Rain Again.”

Ralph Lauren has denied that Hamilton was fired for being overweight.

I like shiny nail polish. My nail polish drawer is stocked with my favorite shine products — Essie Shine-e and CND Super Shiney Top Coat — so I can add shine when it starts to dull. I like my lips shiny, too. I don’t even mind a little shine on my forehead.

Gone was the usual ashy blond asymmetrical 'do she's been known for.

In its place, a softer, more feminine look that we actually -- dare we say it -- like!

What's different: Gosselin's hair is a more golden shade of blond. The ashy, bleached-out tone she had was too intense. The View stylist also worked to lessen the lopsided look by curling her hair loosely to blend the layers.

The end result? Kate is starting to look more like the one who should be gallivanting around Europe on yachts.

Caster Semanya has appeared on the cover of South Africa’s You Magazine with a complete makeover designed to silence critics who insists the 18-year-old athlete is really a man, Jezebel has learned. After coming in first in last month’s world track championships, Semenya was famously subjected to a battery of gender tests to pinpoint her sexuality once and for all.

The jury’s still out on those. In the meantime, the teen’s management team is hastily trying to sell the public on Caster’s femininity — hence the makeover.

For the shoot, Caster swapped her signature cornrows for crimped wave inspired do. A designer black dress and jewelry replace her sweats. She even experimented with makeup and nail polish.

“I’d like to dress up more often and wear dresses but I never get the chance. I am who I am and I’m proud of myself,” Caster told the mag.

It’s heartbreaking that this young women has to be subjected to this kind of treatment just because she doesn’t fit into some silly stereotype dictating what women are supposed to look like. We can’t all be Eva Longoria and gender isn’t always as clear cut as we would think. Can you imagine how humiliated she must feel?

Dora the Explorer grows up and is getting a "new look" in the soon to be released Dora Links Fashion Doll. Can we still call her Explorer? You all know Diego's cousin...she is a young explorer full of spark and energy and she loves a good adventure. She is a kind, exciting, bilingual preschooler. She enjoys adventures and shares them with her friends, Boots Back Pack and sometimes her cousin Diego, the star of Go Diego Go. We have all enjoyed her show for years on Nick.

Wait...that describes the Old Dora...the one we knew and loved. As her audience ages, her parent company wants to keep up with her fans as they grow by making her older too! As with all of us, time has passed and our sweet little explorer has grown up...The Explorer is now a tween and we will see her new look this fall when Nickelodeon and Mattel introduce us to her new line and virtual world. Living in the city and going to middle school, it seems our explorer has grown into a Diva Girl...who likes to do tweenaged things like shop, wear jewelry and she is now into fashion. There's even going to be a virtual Dora Links web world where we can hang out...just like with Webkinz, Neopets, Littlest Pet Shop Pets and the other very popular virtual world toys we have become familiar with. I guess this Virtual Shopping Explorer will have secret codes, code cheats, games and possibly some favorite tween secret recipes too!

There is no mention of Dora's friends...You know the gang...Boots the Monkey...Swiper the Fox...Fiesta Trio...Backpack and Map...Isa...Tico and Benny the Bull. Since most of these characters are not city animals...it makes me think they won't be included in this new world, but since it's virtual, there might be a park in it for them. And I don't know that Backpack and Map won't be traded for Purse, Cel Phone and GPS! I'm just guessing of course, but it does make sense.

It makes us all wonder what the new grown up Links Fashion Doll will be like...will she be the same adventurous soul we knew and loved as a child? Of course, we certainly all hope we can recognize the old Spirit in this new grown up form. It's not likely that such a spirited soul could totally disappear into a shrieking, shopping Teen Princess...is it? Nick and Mattel tell us that Tween Dora will still solve mysteries, let's hope it's not where to find the shiniest glitter eye shadow or the most exciting goth halloween costume!

Finally, a good look at Alyssa Milano’s wedding dress! Alyssa Milano and David Bugliari were married last Saturday in New Jersey. The couple held the wedding ceremony at David’s family estate.

Alyssa wore a custom gown by Vera Wang. It looks to be a diamond white or light ivory contemporary but romantic style wedding gown with an intricately beaded waistline and flared top. Although a stunning dress, I am not sure I really like the color on her skin tone--it washed her out a bit. I think a darker shade of ivory would have complimented her skin better. Maybe it is just the photo--just my opinion! (Check out my article on choosing the right white!) Her wedding hairstyle was simple and elegant, and the veil seems to be either a fingertip length or longer. Alyssa's makeup was stellar, not over the top... flawless.

Alyssa held a bouquet of lily of the valley flowers. The isle was lined with cream-colored rose petals and natural grass. The wedding theme was family and nature.
Milano and Bugliari exchanged traditional vows under a wrought-iron gazebo adorned with willow, calla lilies and roses. Reports say that celebrity guests included actor Bradley Cooper, Ryan Seacrest, Jerry Ferrara, and Will Ferrell.

Congrats to Alyssa and David! Many years of happiness!

Sosie Bacon of course is the cute and talented 16 year old daughter of the incredible talented couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. All three turned out earlier this year at the 15th annual SAG Awards here in Los Angeles.

Sosie attends The Brearley School in Manhattan (Class of 2010) and her brother, Travis Bacon, is in the rock-punk-funk band, “Idiot Box”.

Will voyeurs ever stop searching the Web for Erin Andrews video peep pictures? One who follows the news would have to be excused for believing that the desperate search for Erin Andrews video peep pictures will stretch out into eternity.

For almost a week now, Erin Andrews video peep pictures (and all the various iterations the search phrase has morphed into - including, but not limited to, "Erin Andrews peephole video," "Erin Andrews peephole pictures" and "Erin Andrews peephole megaupload") has been the hottest search topic on the web.

Unless you're an alien living on a planet far, far away from Earth, you would know that the story started when some miscreant (or miscreants) surreptitiously filmed Erin Andrews through a peephole in a hotel room while she was undressing.

Once the now-infamous Erin Andrews peephole video hit the Internet, Andrews' lawyers demanded that the videos be taken down and promised to vigorously prosecute those involved in perpetuating the crime.

But that did not stop people from searching for the video and their enablers from posting it.

And then hackers got into the act and started posting links containing malware; others have posted links that lead prospective voyeurs to nothing more than a sales pitch for some product (clever, uh?)

Some conspiracy-theory types believe that Erin Andrews staged the whole thing as a giant publicity stunt (come on, now - why would she take such a huge risk? Besides, her career is already going gangbusters).

The latest Erin Andrews peephole video news is that it may have been shot by an ESPN coworker (or coworkers) without her knowledge or consent.

Plenty of people are understandably outraged over the Erin Andrews peephole video controversy.

But others are equally angry at the media for covering the story so thoroughly.

But, you see, the Erin Andrews peephole video controversy is a huge, huge, story. It speaks to many issues, including the role the Internet plays in perpetuating prurient new stories, the emergence of female sports reporters, sexism in pro sports, voyeurism, betrayal, publicity, the public's fascination with celebrities, etc.

Solange Knowles, the slightly-less-well-known sister of Beyonce Knowles, still resents being compared to her famous big sister. At one point, she even joked that she would “go crazy like Britney” if people kept comparing her to Beyonce. Well, guess what? Looks like she went crazy like Britney.

With her new haircut, Solange sports the shaved head look and manages to channel Britney Spears. Yes, Solange is now bald…not that there’s anything WRONG with that.

Solange went out on the town in L.A. sporting her new haircut yesterday. She’s apparently going to “low-maintenance”.

First Lady Michelle Obama unveiled a new haircut at a White House reception for country music singers on Tuesday night in the East Room. Among the performers were the likes of Charley Pride, Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Michelle Obama stuck with her sideswept bands, but the new haircut is much shorter on the sides and in the back.

Say what you will, but she definitely looks more “modern” with this new ‘do. Here is a photo…

I have been seeing this on my local news all day. Supposedly women are calling and e-mailing local television stations to find out where to get the Number Seven Cream. Sensai Cleanser became more Famous because of Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus, teen idol extraordinaire, has 1,258,557 followers on Twitter. Most of her fans are about 11-13 years old – the worst time of your life, in my opinion – and are worried about their appearance as they go through puberty.

So what does Miley say to her fans about her acne? She suggests a face wash – “Sensai cleanser” – and Google searches for the product go straight to the top of the charts.

They make the product sound great, don’t they? Here’s the downside – Sensai cleanser costs $100 for 100 milliliters (just over 3 ounces). That’s a lot of green for a face wash. A superstar like Miley Cyrus knows the worth of a product endorsement. I wonder how much money she got per Tweet?

Sadly, not many parents can afford a luxury product like Sensai cleanser, which is going to cause tears, screaming, and inferiority complexes galore. Good going, Miley.
