Have you ever seen some kind fabric like those above ? It's called "batik". Said it like 'bath' and 'thick'. Hehehe...I know most of you didn't usual speak like we do. Beautiful isn't it? Those cloth made by hands. They drawing motif on the material first, and then fulfill the motif with hot ink which made by "malam". You know, for one cloth needed 2 until 3 days to finished. And the motif and the color is last forever. I like many structure motif batik, people said that each motif has each different meaning for the makers. That's a little bit about batik.
Most of batik material is made from cotton. Nowadays batik trends in Indonesia could be many varies of clothes. As a shirt, trousers, skirt, and many more. To be honor Indonesian ancient culture and to preserve it, I am proud for using batik on every occasion. So if you were visiting Indonesia, don't forget to buy batik, I'm sure every of you will loved it as I do.
